The Power of Breathwork
Breath is more than oxygen. It is a direct line to your nervous system, your emotions, and even your consciousness.
For over 20 years, I’ve worked with the HeartMath Institute, which has done extensive research into coherence breathing. Their studies show how simple, heart‑focused breath practices can reset the nervous system, lower stress hormones, and bring the body into physiological coherence. Heart‑Focused Breathing is one of the simplest, most effective ways to achieve this reset. It is the gateway practice, the scientific foundation that makes breathwork practical, measurable, and accessible to everyone.
When stress takes over, your heart rhythm becomes jagged and irregular. In that state, cortisol rises, focus drops, and everything feels harder. But with just two minutes of slow, intentional breathing, about five seconds in, five seconds out, the body shifts. Coherence returns. Clarity follows.

A couple of weeks ago, I had the privilege of meeting Dan Brulé in London at a space called Luv Yourself for a private breathwork session. Dan is a master teacher, guiding people into the advanced dimensions of breathwork. Working with him was NEXT LEVEL, a potent reminder that beyond coherence lies a deeper realm of awareness, where breath becomes a tool to access other layers of consciousness and profound transformation.
HeartMath provides the science. Dan Brulé brings the mastery. Together, they illustrate the full spectrum of breathwork, from the daily reset that restores clarity to the advanced practices that expand human potential.
So here’s what I invite you to reflect on: Where in your life could a simple two‑minute coherence practice shift your state right now? And where might advanced breathwork open doors to possibilities you haven’t yet imagined?
Sometimes the most profound breakthroughs come from the simplest practices.
Warmly,
gina 🙂
